Readmit/Returning Documents

You are considered a readmit/returning student if you have taken classes at UVU previously.

In order to complete your admission to UVU, the following documentation is required for all readmitting/returning students:

College Transcripts

Official transcript from each institution you have attended. UVU only accepts credits from Regionally Accredited institutions. For a list of accredited institutions visit the Transfer Articulation Database.

High School Transcripts

If you have completed at least 24 college credits this requirement will be waived. HOWEVER, to qualify for financial aid you will need to submit proof of high school graduation via a high school transcript.

Placement Testing

  • If you have not taken the ACT or SAT to satisfy the English placement requirement, students can take the Accuplacer at UVU Testing Services in the Wolverine Service Center. Information, exam costs and hours are available at UVU Testing Services.
  • If you are unable to come to Utah Valley University to take the Accuplacer please visit the UVU Testing Services website for more information on how to locate a testing center near you.

You can be admitted with expired test scores, however, placement tests may be required prior to course registration. Expired test scores will be accepted for admission purposes only.

Transferable college level English credit may waive the need for English placement testing. Once transcripts have been evaluated by the Transfer Credit Office, testing requirements will be waived if applicable.
