Apply to Become a Part of the L.E.A.D. Program for the 2017-2018 academic school year!

A partial housing scholarship is available to those who qualify and who submit and application before the February 1, 2017 deadline. Applicants will still be considered for the program but not the housing scholarship if submitted after the due date: Traditional, I Am First, Technology Management, and Women of UVU. Traditional L.E.A.D. Division Non-Scholarship Application Link  : Now Open for Fall 2017

Criteria: 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: A two-year program that not only allows you to choose your own leadership experience, but if so desired, also choose your own mentor and other experiences.

Wolverine Ambassador L.E.A.D. Division Housing Scholarship Application Link  : Closed 1 Feb 2017

Criteria: 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: Students in this division will connect prospective students with resources that will help them on the path to college

Women's Emphasis L.E.A.D. Housing Scholarship Application Link : Closed 1 Feb 2017

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: For female students who focus their leadership learning on women in leadership, serving through the UVU Women’s Success Center.

I Am First L.E.A.D. DivisionNow Open for Fall 2017

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: Students who are the first person in their family to go to college (whose parents did not complete a bachelor’s degree), serving through the First-Year Experience Office at UVU

Technology Management L.E.A.D. Division

Criteria: 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: A two year program specifically for technology management majors that provides succinct leadership development with requirements that align with their major.

Army ROTC L.E.A.D. Division

Criteria: 2.75 GPA and 12 credit hours
Description: Is conducted throughout your Military Science II and III years and allows you to refine your cadet leadership experience by focusing on reflecting, counseling, and team building.

Do I Qualify?

In order to be considered for the L.E.A.D. Program, students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher and be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours at UVU.

What is Expected/Required?

Students accepted to the L.E.A.D. Program must complete four semesters in order to receive High Distinction in Leadership. The program runs during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Please note that students must pay a $100 fee for each year they are in the program.
